Regional Sales Representative – South Germany & Austria

Privately owned international SME distribution business and leisure industry leader has an opportunity for an experienced South Germany based Sales Representative to join our team. With a passion for selling into the garden industry, you will be a motivated self-starter with a willingness to perform above and beyond the norm. 

  • Territory
    • South Germany – PLZ 54-56 / 66-69 / 7 / 8 / 9 and Austria
  • Sales
    • Achieve targets for revenue, margin and sales growth
    • Increase market share in existing markets
    • Identify and maximise new business development opportunities in both the Retail and Contract sectors within the territory
    • Act at all times as a brand ambassador and role model for our business
  • Sales Administration
    • Maintain and improve existing excellent customer relationships within the territory
    • Assist with customer and end user queries when necessary, and provide support for both the Sales Office and Credit department when dealing with customers
    • Provide support with trade shows within Germany

The successful candidate for the Regional Sales Representative position is likely to have the following skills and experience:

  • Essential
    • Good verbal and written understanding of English
    • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
    • Demonstrably high standard of customer service skills
    • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
    • Good planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
    • Commitment to self-development, evidenced by receipt of previous sales training
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
    • A full clean driving license
    • A good team player with excellent communication
  • Desirable
    • Proven track record in selling business-to-business
    • Well presented, with a calm professional manner
    • Confident and assertive, with the ability to gain the trust of the customer
    • Strong understanding of the garden furniture industry
